Biography

Mr. Walker currently serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Falfurrias Capital Partners. Mr. Walker began his professional career in 1972, when he joined a predecessor of Bank of America. During his thirty-year tenure with the institution, he had a variety of assignments, including corporate banking and founding and managing the Private Placements, Syndications, and Project Finance Groups within NationsBank and NCNB (predecessors of Bank of America). Mr. Walker founded Bank of America Capital Investors in 1993. Capital Investors is a private equity investment arm of Bank of America that focuses on buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth capital financings. During a ten-year span, Capital Investors invested approximately $1.4 billion in more than one hundred equity and mezzanine transactions. Mr. Walker was the Managing Partner until his retirement in 2002.
